Fix IPTV Login Failed, Invalid User or Expired Account

Fix IPTV Login Failed, Invalid User or Expired Account

If your IPTV player shows Login Failed, Invalid User, Invalid Details, Authorization Failed or an Expired Account message, the problem is usually related to your login details, service status, server URL or connection.

Follow the steps below in order to identify the cause and get your Alakh IPTV service working again.

Quick Check

Before changing anything, open your Alakh IPTV activation email and compare your username, password and Portal / DNS URL character by character with what is entered in your IPTV player.

Common IPTV Login Error Messages

Different IPTV players use different wording. You may see:

  • Login Failed
  • Invalid Username or Password
  • Invalid User
  • Invalid Details
  • Authorization Failed
  • Authentication Failed
  • Account Expired
  • User Expired
  • Account Disabled
  • Cannot Connect to Server
  • Server Error

Step 1 — Check Your IPTV Username

Enter the IPTV username exactly as shown in your Alakh IPTV activation email.

Check for:

  • Missing letters or numbers
  • Extra characters
  • Uppercase / lowercase differences
  • Accidental spaces before or after the username
Important: Your IPTV username is not necessarily the same as your Alakh IPTV billing/client-area login. Use the IPTV username supplied with your service.

Step 2 — Check Your IPTV Password

Re-enter your IPTV password carefully.

Passwords may be case-sensitive, so check:

  • Uppercase and lowercase letters
  • Numbers
  • Special characters
  • Accidental spaces
Common mistake: Do not use your WHMCS/client-area password unless your activation email specifically says it is your IPTV password.

Step 3 — Check the Portal / DNS URL

If you are using Xtream Codes, the server address must be entered correctly.

Depending on the player, this field may be called:

  • Server URL
  • Portal URL
  • DNS URL
  • Host URL
  • Server Address
Enter the complete URL exactly as provided. Do not remove http://, https://, the domain or any port number included in the activation email.

Do Not Put an M3U URL in the Xtream Codes Server Field

If you are using Xtream Codes, the player normally expects:

  • Server / Portal URL
  • Username
  • Password

A complete M3U playlist URL belongs in an M3U / Playlist URL setup field, not in the Xtream Codes server-address field.

Step 4 — Check Whether Your Subscription Is Active

An expired or inactive IPTV subscription can produce a login or authorization error.

Check your Alakh IPTV client area or recent service emails to confirm the subscription status.

Account Status What to Do
Active Continue with the troubleshooting steps below.
Expired Renew the service or contact Alakh IPTV.
Pending / Not Activated Contact support if you expected the service to be active.

Recently Renewed?

If you recently renewed your Alakh IPTV subscription but your player still shows the account as expired:

  1. Close the IPTV player.
  2. Restart your device.
  3. Open the player again.
  4. Refresh or reload the playlist.
  5. Contact Alakh IPTV Support if the account still appears expired.

Step 5 — Remove Accidental Spaces

Copying credentials from an email can sometimes add invisible spaces.

If possible, delete each field completely and type or paste it again carefully.

Check:

Username → no spaces before or after
Password → no spaces before or after
Server URL → no spaces before or after

Step 6 — Restart the IPTV Player

Completely close your IPTV application and reopen it.

If the application has stored an old login session, restarting it may force a fresh connection.

Step 7 — Restart Your Device

Restart the television, Firestick, Android device, Apple TV, IPTV box, phone, tablet or computer you are using.

Then reopen your IPTV player and try logging in again.

Step 8 — Check Your Internet Connection

Some IPTV players display a generic login error when they cannot reach the server.

Confirm:

  • Your device is connected to the internet
  • Other apps/websites load normally
  • Your router is working
  • Your Wi-Fi signal is stable

Restart your router if necessary and try again.

Step 9 — Test Another IPTV Player

If the same credentials work in another compatible player, the account itself is likely valid and the issue may be with the original application or its configuration.

For example:

Player A → Login Failed

Player B → Login Successful

In that situation:

  1. Check Player A's server URL again.
  2. Update the player.
  3. Remove and re-add the account.
  4. Reinstall the player only if necessary.

Step 10 — Test Another Internet Connection

If the credentials are correct but the player still cannot connect, test another network.

For example:

Home Wi-Fi → Login Failed

Mobile Hotspot → Login Works

If the same login works on another network, your account is probably not the problem. The issue may involve your normal network, router, ISP routing or filtering.

Step 11 — Test a VPN Only When Appropriate

A VPN Is Not Automatically Required

Do not assume that every login error requires a VPN.

A VPN is useful as a diagnostic test when:

  • Your username and password are correct.
  • Your subscription is active.
  • The same account works on another internet connection.
  • It fails only on your normal network.

In that situation, testing a reputable VPN may help determine whether ISP routing or filtering is affecting access.

Step 12 — Check Your Connection Limit

If your account has reached its simultaneous connection limit, some players may refuse to start another stream or may display a generic authorization error.

Stop playback on other devices and try again.

Remember: Installed devices and simultaneous connections are different. A 1-connection plan should normally have only one active IPTV stream at a time.

Login Worked Before but Suddenly Stopped?

If your IPTV account worked previously and suddenly shows a login error:

  1. Check whether the subscription has expired.
  2. Restart the IPTV player.
  3. Restart your device and router.
  4. Test another IPTV player.
  5. Test another internet connection.
  6. Contact support if the same credentials fail everywhere.

Quick Login Error Finder

Problem Check First
Invalid User Username spelling and subscription status
Invalid Password Password and letter case
Account Expired Subscription status / renewal
Cannot Connect to Server Portal URL and network connection
Works in one app only Original app configuration
Works on hotspot only Home network / ISP issue

What Not to Do

  • Do not publicly share your IPTV username or password.
  • Do not post your complete M3U URL online.
  • Do not enter your credentials into unknown "IPTV checker" websites.
  • Do not repeatedly change your login details without checking the activation email.
  • Do not reinstall the app before saving your login information.
  • Do not assume a VPN is required before testing another network.

Quick Login Troubleshooting Checklist

  1. Check your IPTV username.
  2. Check your IPTV password.
  3. Check the complete Portal / DNS URL.
  4. Remove accidental spaces.
  5. Confirm your subscription is active.
  6. Restart the IPTV player.
  7. Restart the device and router.
  8. Try another IPTV player.
  9. Try another internet connection.
  10. Test a VPN only when appropriate.
  11. Check your simultaneous connection limit.
